STEP 1 : DISCONNECT & REMOVE FP SG BURNER FROM FIRE
STEP 1a : Remove Existing SG Burner & Fan Assembly .
Ensure Gas & Power to the Appliance is turned off , remove
Coals/Logs , Vermiculite , & Front Burner Grate , then
disconnect Gas Supply to the Burner at the Manual Igniter
Control . Remove the SG Burner from the Firebox & then
remove the Fan Shroud Assembly , the power supply for the
Fan will now become the Power Supply to the EG Burner
Setup .
STEP 1b : Break Out 2 Front Breakout Panels .
Break Out (1 & 2) Front Breakout Panels inside Firebox to
accommodate the EG Burner Electronics supplied . The
Back Fan Breakout Panel should already be removed , if
this is not removed then break that panel out also .
STEP 2 : FIT 3 SPEED FAN ASSEMBLY & WIRING IN FIREBOX
STEP 2 : Fit 3 Speed Fan Assembly
Before fitting the Fan Assembly you will need to disconnect it’s lead from Circuit Board from it’s packaging -
take note where the connection’s inside the Circuit Board is located before disconnecting & mark or memo-
rise its location . Fit the Fan in place using self tapping screws supplied & ensure to run the Power Supply
Cable & Fan Cable in & down underneath the Fan Shroud & under Breakout Panels as shown above , this
will help with connection into the Circuit Board in the next few steps . There is also a Power Lead Supplied
from the Circuit Board which can also be joined to existing Power Supply inside Firebox .
Disconnect Gas Supply to Burner & remove
Burner out of Firebox after this remove the
Fan Assembly & cut or disconnect 3 Core
Power Cable to Fan .
