4. Check control valve bracket M16 bolts (2). Torque to
specification.
5. Check the condition of the tilt frame pins and bushes.
6. Check feed roller arm and upper delimb arm pins and
pin collar, (if in softwood applications). (See Pins.)
7. Clean top saw housing area. Thoroughly clean the
saw bar cavity of any debris, check saw assembly
mounting and top saw motor mounting bolts. Torque
(1/2-in. UNC) bolts to specification.
8. Torque main saw supercut option (M10) bolts to
specification..
9.
Torque main saw supercut option (M12) bolts to
specification.
10. Torque main saw 3/4-in. option (1/2-in. UNF) bolts
to specification.

12. Torque feed roller mount bolt to specification.
13. Torque feed roller hub nut to specification.
14. Grease main saw, feed out rack, and bearing if
supercut saw option fitted or swing arm bearing if
3/4-in. saw option fitted. (See Fluids and Lubricants.)
15. Remove plate and visually check rotator pinion grease
level. Apply grease as required. Inspect pinion and
gear faces. Replace when worn. (See Rotator.)
16. Grease fixed feed motor splines and re-shim motor (if
in hardwood applications). (See Feed Rollers.)
