APPENDIX C – MULTIPLE STREAM SEQUENCER
Introduction
The Multistream Sequncer is an external accessory for the automatic, continuous multiplexing of
up to four sample streams to one on-line 3040 Series colorimetric analyzer. The sequencer is
connected to the analyzer via a 4 wire cable which provides communication and power supply to
the external unit. Once connectted, the analyzer is linked to the sequencer and displays the
process value, alarm status, channel status and time during operation for all of the active
channels. Storage of event/alarm log and measurement values for all channels inside analyzer's
datalogger. A sampling valves manifold is mounted on the sequencer plate and ensures sample is
available for switching between streams. The fast loop reservoir with level switch is mounted on
the sequencer to provide the flow alarm in case of loss of sample in any of the streams. The
sequencer is factory tested and ready for installation and operation.
