ROOF TOP PIPING
PLEASE NOTE: This sketch shows a typical assembly; depending on your available space, you may wish to install these details in a different
location or the reverse from what’s shown to better accommodate the Air Cleaner and/or Particulate Dust Cyclone.
40) Combined Large & Small Discharge Pipes - make two: align pins and mounting points on Lower (2x 143) and Upper (2x 144) Pipe Halves
and glue where parts meet. Align pins and mounting points on both halves of Small Discharge Piping (2x 150) and glue where parts meet.
Align pins and mounting points on Right (2x 151) and Left (2x 152) Small Elbows and glue where parts meet. Glue flanges on Small
Discharge Pipes to ends of both smaller pipes as shown. Insert Small Elbows to other ends of both Small Discharge Pipes and glue together
as shown.
41) Straight Connector Pipe: glue Pipe Halves (2x 149) together. Align flanges at both ends of this pipe with openings in large ends of
Combined Pipes as shown, and glue where parts meet. Glue Cover Plate (153) at the far end of the Combined Pipe as shown.
42) Align the flange on the open end (right side shown) of the discharge piping assembly with the Inlet Pipe on the Air Cleaner. Once you’ve
determined where these parts will rest on the roof, glue Large Pipe Supports (3x 155) and Small Pipe Supports (203) to the underside of the
pipes as shown. Glue the bottom of these Supports to the roof.
43) Glue one end of Connector Pipe (216) to pin on Flange of Cyclone and allow to dry. Glue Small Elbow (219) to opposite end with bend
facing upward. Glue second Connector at the opposite end, and a Small Elbow (219) to opposite end with bend facing down as shown. Glue
Connectors to pins on each end of Discharge Pipe (217) as shown. Glue pin on 90° Elbow (218) to end Connector as shown.
FINAL DETAILS
44) Electrical Cabinet with Meters (38): Glue Clear (2x 46) Meter Covers to raised round areas on meter details. The finished Electrical
Cabinet can be installed on any wall with the Transformer Cabinet alongside or some distance away; depending on your final location, you
may wish to add Protective Posts to alert drivers using the Walthers SceneMaster Safety & Security Posts (#949-4148) or parts from the
Cornerstone Security Details (#933-4076), both sold separately.
DECALING
1. After cutting out the decal, dip in water for 10 seconds, remove and let stand for 1 minute. Slide decal onto surface, position
and then blot off any excess water.
2. Lightly brush Micro Sol® on top. This will soften the decal allowing it to conform to irregular surfaces. DO NOT TOUCH
DECAL while wet!
3. When the decal is thoroughly dry, check for any trapped air bubbles. Prick them with the point of a small pin or hobby knife
blade and apply more Micro Sol®.
