Some dust created by power polishing, sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities
contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these
chemicals are:
•
Lead from lead-based paints,
•
Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
•
Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to
these chemicals: work in a well-ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as dust appropriate
respiratory equipment.

The "C" and "US" indicators adjacent to the CSA Mark signify that the product has been evaluated to the
applicable CSA and ANSI/ UL Standards, for use in Canada and the U.S., respectively.
4. Mounting the Ulti-Mate
4.1 Mounting the dust shield.
• Push the button on the back of the arm and keep it pushed in.
• Slide with the other hand the shield from bottom to top into the slot.
• First slide the guide with the biggest diameter about 5mm in the outer
slot. Next follows the guide with the smallest diameter, which slides into
the inner slot.
•
ATTENTION:
Never attempt to slide both guides at the same time in the
slots, this will not work. Always start with the outer slide, the inner slide
will follow automatically.
• Place the shield in the desired position.
• Unleash the button to secure the position.
4.2 Relocating the shield.
• Push the button on the back of the arm and keep it pushed in.
• Shift the shield until it reaches the desired position.
• Unleash the button again.
