11. Troubleshooting
Problem

The microphone does not
turn on
The battery may be incorrectly
oriented in the battery com-
partment. Open the battery
compartment and make sure
the battery is correctly
installed.
The battery may be exhaus

ted. Replace it with a new
one. See the „Specifi cations“
section for compatible re-
placements.
The battery terminals are dir

ty. Open the battery compart-
ment and clean the terminals
with a cotton swab.
The battery discharges too
quickly
The microphone is being left
on. Turn o¬ff the microphone
by switching to „OFF“ to save
battery when the recording
is finished.
You are using the microphone
in extremely hot or cold condi-
tions which drains it quickly.
Too much ambient noise is
being picked up
When there is too much
background noise, switch to
-10dB to reduce unwanted
background noise.
