CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The submersible pressure pump is a maintenance-free and proven quality
product that is subjected to strict final inspections. However, for a long
service life and perfect operation, we recommend regular inspection and
maintenance.
• Disconnect the mains plug before maintenance and cleaning.
• If transportable, clean the pump with clear water after each use.
• For stationary installation it is recommended to check the function of the
float switch every 3 months.
•
Remove fluff and fibrous particles that may have settled in the pump
housing with a water jet.
•
At the latest every 3 months, remove sludge from the shaft floor and also
clean the shaft walls. This depends on the degree of contamination.
•
Clean the float switch of deposits with clear water.
• If the connecting cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer service or a similar qualified person in order
to avoid hazards!
Storage
• Clean the pump before storage.
• Store the pump in a dry and frost-free room out of the reach of children.
• If you wish to store the pump for a longer period of time, you must clean
the unit thoroughly after the last operation and before using it again.
Otherwise, residues or deposits may cause start-up problems.
