Power Supply Concept for Marine Applications
The following are required for certified use in marine applications:
•
Filter for the 24V system power supply:
To filter the 24V system power supply of the fieldbus coupler or controller, a
750-626/xxx-xxx power supply filter must be provided.
•
Filter for the 24V field power supply:
To filter the 24V field power supply, a 750-624/xxx-xxx field-side power
supply filter or 750-626/xxx-xxx power supply filter must be provided.
No field-side power supply filter or power supply filter is required for powering a
230 V field power supply.
Observe the manuals!
Also not the instructions in the manuals of the individual I/O modules and in the
750 and 753 Series system manual!
Marine applications:
• Class A: All areas, except bridge and open deck
• Class B: All areas, including bridge and open deck
Applications with isolation monitoring:
High-isolation (HI) versions of the filter modules are required for applications with
isolation monitoring.
