Refresh-o-mat HD Maintaining and cleaning the device

Use the Refresh-o-mat to clean the outer air ducts as described in the
chapter “Cleaning the air-conditioning unit” on page 12.
1. Set air-conditioning system to outer air mode (
4 ) (fig. 8 , page 4).
2. Place the Refresh-o-mat in front of the vehicle.
3. Connect the adapter kit to the Refresh-o-mat. Place the end of the
adapter kit in front of the outer air ducts (fig. a , page 5).
4. Connect the Refresh-o-mat to the power supply.

5. Press “START/STOP” once (fig. 9 , page 4), to start the cleaning
procedure with 100 ml of fluid.

The “READY/ON” LED lights up green.

6. Ensure that the spray from the ventilation is sucked up.
7. The Refresh-o-mat stops automatically after approx. 20 minutes when
the fluid reaches a minimum level.
8. Press “START/STOP” once, to end the cleaning procedure prematurely.
9. Disconnect from the power supply.
10.Open all vehicle doors and allow the vehicle interior to air for approx.
30 minutes.
8 Maintaining and cleaning the device

1. Disconnect from the power supply.
2. Remove the hose.
3. Empty any remaining fluid (fig.
b
, page 5).
4. Rinse out with water.
CAUTION! Health hazard
Do not breathe in the spray.
NOTE
For a cleaning procedure with 400 ml of fluid press “START/
STOP” twice. All three LEDs flash briefly to confirm.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
Do not use any sharp or hard objects for cleaning since they may
damage the device.
