7.6 Free selection
The “Free selection” menu is used to conduct air conditioning servicing
step-by-step. You can perform the same processes as in the short selec-
tion menu, but also omit individual procedures. In addition, it is possible
to enter the values for each individual process using the keypad. You can
also enter the vehicle data for the service report in this menu.
The following three processes can be run in isolation from the
“Free selection ” menu:
 Recycling phase: sampling and analysis of the refrigerant
(ASC2000RPA only), extraction, recycling of refrigerant,
pressure rise test, draining used oil.
 Vacuum phase: nitrogen test (ASC2000RPA only), leak test/over-
pressure check (ASC2000RPA only), evacuation of the system, leak
test/vacuum check.
 Filling phase: filling with fresh oil, filling of UV additive, filling of refrig-
erant.
After each process has been performed, a service report is printed.
1. First fit the connections of the AirConServiceCenter to the vehicle
air conditioning system and open them.
2. In standby mode, use the cursor keys or to select
“Free selection ”:

4. Then follow the instructions in the display:
Select the setting (which then flashes) and press ENTER to confirm.
