Removing the Engine
Prerequisites
Engine cool
Procedure
Follow the procedure below to remove the engine.
1. Disconnect the spark plug.
2. Label and disconnect the wiring between the engine and the control panel.
3. Remove the fuel tank. See section

4. Remove the muffler. See section

5. Remove the stator. See section
Removing the Stator

6. Remove the rotor. See section
Removing the Rotor

7. Remove the screws
(a)
that secure the engine to the shock mounts.
8. Pull the engine from the frame.
The procedure to remove the engine is now complete.
