Operational safety
• Damaged battery chargers may not be used.
• In case of malfunctions, disconnect the battery charger immediately
from the power source.
• Charge only approved compatible rechargeable batteries.
• Damaged batteries may not be recharged.
• The battery charger’s plug must fit in the plug receptacle. The plug
may not be changed in any way. Do not use the adapter plug to-
gether with grounded machines.
• Avoid any contact with grounded surfaces.

Safety features
Safety features protect the operator of this machine from being exposed
to the existing hazards. These are barriers (separating protective
devices) or other technical measures that serve to avert or reduce haz-
ards.
Lithium-ion batteries are classified as dangerous goods in international
transport law and are subject to the international regulations for the trans-
port of dangerous goods with regard to classification, packaging and
marking.

Do not remove the cover insert.
Information
Regulations for the transport of dangerous goods!
If the cover insert is removed, the rechargeable battery transport box no
longer complies with the UN regulations for the transport of dangerous
goods.
