MOBILE TEST BENCH
4.3 Function
Fig. circuit diagram
The mobile test bench is divided into four areas. These can be described as
follows:
Area C ‘Supply’
Area C, ‘Supply’, is responsible for the compressed-air supply of the mobile
test bench via the compressed-air system of the workshop.
– For this purpose, connect the coupling of the blue supply hose to the barb
nipple P
in
on the mobile test bench.
– Make sure that the S8 switch cock is in zero position.
– Now connect the blue supply hose to the compressed-air system on site.
– Use the precision control valve V8 to adjust the pressure to the intended
level for the subsequent test procedure.
– Once the pressure has been adjusted to the desired level you can open
switch cock S8.
The pressure thus set is now applied to the three independent
circuits in the ‘Control’ area.
Area A ‘Control’
The ‘Control’ area is responsible for the pneumatic actuation of the
specimen. Three independent circuits, to which three pressure gauges
(G1 - G3), three switch cocks (S1 - S3) and three compressed-air outlets
(C1 - C3) are respectively assigned, are available for this purpose.
– First, connect a compressed-air hose (C1 - C3) to a compressed-air
outlet.
