Time Scanning (Kinetic Analysis)
This chapter tells you how to obtain the absorbance or transmittance value for a sample
as a function of time at a given wavelength.
Scan Sample
1. Click on the toolbar, the following dialog box will appear.
2. Click on the toolbar to select the %transmittance mode or click to select
the absorbance mode.
3. Click on the toolbar. A dialogue box will be displayed. Key in the wavelength,
total time (in seconds) and scan step in the above dialog box. The wavelength range
should be within 190 to 1100 nm. The upper limit for total time is 100000 seconds.
Seven scan intervals can be selected from 0.5S, 1S, 2S, 5S, 10S, 30S and 60S. Click
OK.
