STORING A NAME AND NUMBER INTO THE PHONE BOOK
You can store the names and numbers of 50 frequently called parties.
1. Press MEM/NEW. The number
on the lower right corner shows
the lowest available location
where the new record will be
stored.
2. Enter the name (up to 16 char-
acters). Use
to backspace if
you make a mistake.
Each of the number keys has a specific set of characters. Each
press of a particular number key causes characters to be dis-
played in the following order:

Use
for advancing cursor or inserting a space.
3. Press
. Enter the number (up to 16 digits). Press RE-
DIAL/PAUSE at the appropriate point to include long dis-
tance codes and pauses if necessary. Each press inserts
a 2 second pause. Use
to backspace if you make a
mistake. Press
to switch between name and number
editing.
4. Press SELECT to save your entry.
