Spare battery (optional)
You can keep a charged spare battery (purchased separately) n the telephone base. The spare battery
compartment s located at the bottom of the telephone base. The spare charged battery allows you
to quckly replace a low handset battery, or n the event of a power falure, make and receve short
calls for up to three hours, dependng on the amount of use.
To nstall and charge a spare battery:
Use only suppled
rechargeable
battery or
replacement
battery purchased

When you have finished installing the spare battery, the battery charging icon will appear in the top
rght corner of the telephone base dsplay. It takes at least 24 hours for the spare battery to reach a full
charge. Once the spare battery s fully charged, you can keep t charged untl needed.
