10. When a drive shaft is being replaced, ensure machine power is sufficient.

4.3 Installing onto tractor
1. The tractor must be equipped with a PTO 1.3/8" ASE DIN 9611/A for 540 rotations
and the 3-points hitch must be designed for the weight of the machine.
2. The tool pins are reversable and so the machine can be installed to 3-point hitches
of Category 1- and Category 2 tractors.
Select the correct position and fasten the machine, minding that the pins are tight
locked into the lifting construction.
3. Raise hitch so that the drive line can be installed with both coupling points at same
height (horizontally).
4. Bring the machine in a level, vertical position by adjusting the top bar of the 3-points
hitch.

5.1 Liability
Votex does not accept any responsibility if the following instructions are not complied
with:
1. The machine may only be used and maintained as described in this manual and in
current supplements.
2. Replacing parts must be original Votex or equivalent.
3. Changes on the machine are only covered with Votex’s written approval.
4. Local current regulations concerning safety, using the machine, road transport etc.
and the safety instructions in this manual, must always be complied with before,
during and after using the machine.
N.B.:
Votex Whirlwind is never responsible for follow-up damage.
5.2 Warranty
Votex Whirlwind warrants repair and/or replacement of defective parts during a period
of 12 months after delivery.
Parts that became defective after unintended use are excluded.
As for purchased machine components,
Votex will refer to the warranty stipulations of
the concerning supplier.
Costs of shipping and labour for replacement of parts, are not included under the
warranty unless
Votex has agreed explicitly with this before the repair.
Warranty never covers costs resulting from a not properly functioning machine.
