Assemble the fan according to the instruc on, see FIG VII in the assembly manual.
06.1 Assembly
• Transport and store the fan only in its original packaging.
• Storage temperature: –40 ˚ C to +60 ˚ C.
• Avoid impacts and unnecessary loads to packaging and/or fan.
• In case the packaging is damaged check for damages on the fan.
07. Storage / Transport
CAUTION: Do not mix the blades of di ff erent fans, as the blades are sorted by weight.
CAUTION: The black V-belt has an elas c core, providing longer tension. Do not replace with a
standard V-belt.
08. Start-up
Before connec ng the fan to mains power supply be sure that the speci fi ca ons on the produc on label match the
local voltage and frequency. Make sure that the controller is suitable for the fan and that the fan is suitable for the
controller.
When the fan is powered up at full speed, it may occur that, during a short period of me and
under certain condi ons, such as a humid or dusty environment, the belt produces a sqeaking
sound. Check the belt tension if the noise con nues.
CAUTION: If the fan is provided with a cable and the type label states AAxx, wiring diagram I of FIG
IX applies.
CAUTION: If the fan is provided with a cable and the type label states ABxx or ACxx, wiring diagram
II of FIG IX applies.
For Star or Delta consult the type label, see FIG I, under number 15:
D = Delta connected for 230V.
Y = Star connected for 400V.
To change the direc on of rota on for single phase fans the brown and red wires have to be exchanged.
3-phase fans rotate with a le -rota ng
fi eld and standard connec on in the correct direc on.
09. Pu ng out of service
To put the fan out of service follow the assembly and install instruc on in the Assembly Manual in reverse order.
10. Disposal / Recycling
Disposal must be carried out professionally and environmentally friendly in accordance with the legal s pula ons.
