Risk of damage to the
floor!
Improper use of the DuoClean may cause damage to the floor.
• Never use the DuoClean without the cleaning cloth.
• Please also refer to the cleaning and care information issued by
the floor manufacturer.
• Never work on the same spot for more than 10 seconds.
• Never leave the DuoClean standing on the floor with a wet
cleaning cloth for more than 30 seconds. Otherwise, delicate
floors may be damaged.
• For delicate floors, such as floors which are not permanently
sealed (e.g. oiled cork, oiled parquet, coated, oiled stoneware),
Vorwerk recommends that you first test the device in an
inconspicuous area to prevent damage to the floor.
• In the case of floors that are extremely sensitive to moisture,
wipe dry with a dry Parquet or Dry cleaning cloth and set the
vacuum cleaner to full power if the floor is too wet.
• If the DuoClean hooks into objects or gets jammed, the device
should be switched off immediately in order to prevent damage.
Material damage as a
result of incorrect
assembly of the cloth
holder!
Improper handling of the cloth holder may cause damage.
• When attaching the cleaning cloth to the cloth holder, always
ensure that the cloth is fastened evenly. The cleaning cloth must
not be positioned at an excessive angle to the cloth holder.
• Avoid forced insertion and extraction of the cloth holder.

Improper handling of the tank may cause damage.
• Avoid forced insertion and extraction of the tank.
Risk of material
damage from
incorrect storage!
Permanent moisture in and on the device may cause damage.
• Never leave a wet cloth in the DuoClean when storing it.
• When storing the device, never leave residual fluid in the tank.
• Empty the tank fully after each use.
Risk of damage due to
magnetism!
The secondary air flap is closed using a magnet.
• Keep credit cards, electronic storage media and other objects
that are sensitive to magnetic fields away from them.
Risk of damage from
incorrect application
of moisture!
The dry cleaning cloth may be damaged if moisture is applied to it.
• Do not apply any moisture when using the dry cleaning cloth.
