OPERATION

•

When the SAFETY VALVE is pushed UP and continued steam is still escaping from the REGULATOR, the
high heat should then be reduced to a medium heat.

WARNING! Do not touch any surfaces of the Pressure Cooker. Always use the HANDLES in accordance
with instructions. The use of oven gloves is highly recommended when handling the appliance.

•

Once cooked, turn off the stove/hob and remove the Pressure Cooker. Place on a heat-proof mat or
surface to cool for several minutes.

NOTE: Force cooling may sometimes be required when over cooking has occurred or when the LID has
to be opened during the cooking time. To cool the Pressure Cooker, place it in a sink and flush with cold
running water. Ensure NO water enters the SAFETY VALVE when doing so. Turning the REGULATOR to
the       position can also release the pressure and cool the appliance quicker.

•

The SAFETY VALVE will drop down to indicate the Pressure Cooker has slightly cooled. You can now
remove the LID by turning anti clockwise.

WARNING! Take extra care when opening the LID after cooking as steam is still present and can cause
scalding injuries.

•

To remove the food, we recommend you use wooden or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the stainless
steel surface.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Do not attempt to move or carry the Pressure Cooker whilst it is still hot.

•

The exterior of the appliance should be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth.

CAUTION: Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents.

•

The POT should be left to soak in warm, soapy water and gently scrubbed using a soft sponge.

CAUTION: DO NOT use any metal, harsh abrasive or very stiff pads/washing up brushes, or abrasive
cleaning agents on ANY of the surfaces.

IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the LID in water. Only clean the LID with a slightly damp cloth to remove
any food residue.

•

If the REGULATOR becomes blocked due to food residue, dismantle for the UPPER LID by turning it to
the unload/cleaning position (  ). Clean with warm, soapy water and dry completely before reattaching to
the UPPER LID.

•

Stubborn stains can be removed using a suitable non-metallic scouring pad.

•

Salt spots, tarnishing and stains can be removed using mild detergents specially formulated for cleaning
stainless steel cookware and similar items. Wash your cookware thoroughly after use of such products.

•

Dry the product thoroughly using paper towel or a soft cloth.

•

It is recommended that you place a paper towel between cookware if stacking to prevent damage to the
surfaces

CAUTION: Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance, allow the appliance

to completely cool.
