OPERATION

IMPORTANT: Whichever the size of your Pressure Cooker, never exceed the following levels:

CAUTION: Check the REGULATOR vent pipe
before use.

•

If the REGULATOR pipe is blocked, turn
clockwise until the triangle indicator points to
the unload/cleaning position (  ). Also check the
rubber seal around the rim of the LID is in place
and not damaged in any way.

•

Remove the REGULATOR from the UPPER
HANDLE and thoroughly clean. Replace the
REGULATOR back into the UPPER HANDLE by
aligning the indicator to the unloading/cleaning
position (  ), turn anticlockwise to lock securely
into position.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the REGULATOR is
securely in position before use.

•

Place your ingredients and liquid (water or
stock) into the POT before placing the LID on
top. To lock the LID, hold the LOWER HANDLE
tightly and align the triangle marker on the LID
(    ) with the marker on the LOWER HANDLE
(    ). Turn the UPPER HANDLE clockwise to lock
tightly.

IMPORTANT: Ensure you do not overfill the
POT with ingredients as they will expand under
pressure. Refer to the guide above.

•

To set the working pressure for your chosen
food, turn the REGULATOR to position I or II.

•

In order to raise the temperature rapidly, set the
cooker on a high heat. Ensure the flames do not
exceed the base of the Pressure Cooker. After a
short time heating a small amount of steam will
escape from the SAFETY VALVE (this is perfectly
normal).

WARNING! Take extra caution around escaping
steam. Contact with steam will result in a
scalding injury.

•

When the pressure inside reaches a certain level,
the steam escaping will automatically stop.
