•
Only use the perforated Paint Roller (spares available online). Standard Rollers will not work.
•
Inspect the Paint roller for lint before painting, if needed, wash and dry before use.
•
When using the Long Reach Paint Roller for the first application, it will take most of the paint in the
PAINT TUBE
to saturate the Roller. A second fill of the
PAINT TUBE
may be needed.
•
Ensure you keep the Roller moving when applying pressure on the
PLUNGER
to prevent any
dripping.
•
If the Paint Roller starts to slide along the walls, remove any pressure from the
PLUNGER
. This
indicates too much paint has been inserted into the
ROLLER BARREL
.
•
When painting in tight spaces, partially fill the
PAINT TUBE
as this will reduce the overall length of
the Paint Roller making it easier to handle.
•
When leaving the Long Reach Paint Roller unattended for a long period of time, wrap the
ROLLER
BARREL
in cling film or a bag to prevent it from drying out.
•
Ensure the type of paint being used can be cleaned using mineral spirits or warm water. Avoid using
any gloss pains as this will easily block the
PAINT TUBE
.
•
Always protect you floor surfaces by placing dust sheets down before painting.
•
If you are using the
FLOOR STAND
, ensure all pressure has been removed from the
PLUNGER
to
prevent any paint from dripping.
HINTS & TIPS
SURFACE PREPARATION
With any paint task, you should always ensure that you have prepared your surface to get the best finish.
You must ensure all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, rust and grease. Lightly pressure wash decks or exterior
surfaces and ensure they are completely dry before painting.
With pre-coated or pre-painted surfaces, lightly rub down with sandpaper to ensure a good bond for the paint.
With bare wood surfaces, wipe with a damp rag to ensure the surface is free of dust.
NOTE:
Allow to dry completely before painting
