under any circumstance, hold the
work-piece by hand as a means of securing it
whilst cutting. This may cause serious personal
injury and damage to the tool.
OPERATION
IMPORTANT
Always wear eye protection while
operating this power tool.
CAUTION
Before attempting to cut any wooden
work-piece, first ensure that the material is free from
any foreign objects, screws or nails.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that the blade is suitable for the
material to be cut, and never use blunt or damaged
blades.
Ensure the work-piece
(A)
to be cut has been safely
secured into position with the appropriate clamps,
then connect the tool to the mains power supply.
Hold the tool securely with one hand on the
Handle
and the other on the
Barrel Grip (3),
making sure that
the tool is not in contact with the work-piece before
starting it up.
Squeeze the
On/Off Trigger (5)
to power on the Saw,
and allow the Blade to reach full speed before cutting
the material.
NOTE
The
On/Off Trigger
(5)
is pressure-sensitive in
order to adjust the speed of the cut. Always adjust the
speed using the
Variable Speed Dial (6)
according to
the material being cut.
NOTE
When using the tool for a particularity long cut,
or for extended periods of time, use of the
Lock-On
Button
(4)
may be required.
For continuous operation, activate the
On/Off Trigger
(5)
, then push in the
Lock-On Button (4)
; the tool will
now run on maximum speed without the need to keep
hold of the
On/Off Trigger
(5)
.
To release the
Lock-On Button
(4)
, squeeze the
On/Off Trigger
(5)
fully.
WARNING!
Always make sure that you wear adequate safety equipment when using the tool.

When sawing into walls, floors
or where “live” electrical wires may be
