Fuses. Power Trim
IMPORTANT! Always investigate the reason for
the fuse activating. Always carry spare fuses.
On the trim pump motor there is a fuse holder with a 10
A blade fuse (2).
A 50 A automatic fuse is located on the right side of
the engines valve cover (together with the fuses for the
engines electrical system). Reset the fuse by pressing
in the button (3).
Trim pump. Oil level
When checking and topping up the oil it is important
that no dirt gets into the oil. Keep everything very
clean.
1. Trim the drive to the maximum down position.
Check that the oil level is between the MAX and
MIN markings on the oil container.
2. Remove the oil filler cover (1) to fill with oil. Use
automatic transmission fluid.
After filling a completely drained reservoir the system
should be bled by trimming the drive in and out ap-
proximately 10 times. Top up if required.
The control handle with integrated Power Trim controls
(Volvo Penta control) has a 5 A fusible link (4) in the
harness.
