4. Commissioning
1. Unpack the scope of delivery and check that it is complete and in an undamaged state.
Get in touch immediately with your specialist dealer if you find a fault.
2. Continue by unrolling the LED strip from the spindle.
3. Clean the surfaces where you want to fit the LED strip.
4. To guarantee optimum support for the LED strip,
the mounting surface must be dry, sufficiently level, clean and free from grease.
5. Pull the adhesive foil from the rear side of the LED strips and fit it immediately.
Tip:
The LED strips are self adhesive, this adhesive can release after a longer period of time,
apply additional points of adhesive with a suitable adhesive for this reason
when you are fitting your LED strip for the first time.
6. Plug together the connection plug of the LED strip with the connection socket of the
Controller.
7. Insert the mains plug into the connection socket of the controller.
8. Insert the mains plug of the mains power unit into the socket.
9. The LED strip can be shortened to the ideal length you want.
Cut the strip with scissors at the copper coloured connection to do this.
Note:
Please note that the protection type at this point is eliminated after shortening the LED strip!
The separation point must be closed with silicon/shrink tubing to reinstate the original protection type.
10. It is not possible to change the LED.
5. Functional faults
The LED strip does not switch on
The LED strip has a direction of flow: Check the connection from the junction box to the LED strip.
Is the LED strip connected to the mains?
The remote control does not work.
Is the LED strip connected to the mains?
Battery properly inserted? Checked the polarity.
Weak battery or faulty. Change the batteries
Sensor in the range? Reduce the distance to the sensor.
