7.7.12.2 QoS Queue Mapping
The switch supports eight egress queues for each port with a strict priority scheduler.
That is, each CoS value can map into one of the eight queues. Queue eight has the
highest priority to transmit packets.
Click
Submit
to save changes to RAM memory. Click
Refresh
to view effect of changes.
To eventually make all changes permanent in Flash memory, go to
Save Configuration
page
(bottom of management menu) and click
Save
.
The CoS values range from 0 for low priority to 7 for high priority.

Some VLAN tag-related field settings for each port are included in this page. It includes:
Port:
Select a port from list window to configure
Ingress Bandwidth:
Maximum ingress bandwidth in 64kbps steps for selected port
Egress Bandwidth:
Maximum egress bandwidth in 64kbps steps for selected port
Default CoS: every untagged packet received from this port will be assigned to this CoS
value in the VLAN tagged
Click on
Modify
to change the content in the selected port’s window
(temporary until
Submit
is clicked)
