Clock, correcting
The digital clock in the instrument panel may deviate from the correct time by 5 seconds within 24
hours
If the deviation is greater than 5 seconds:
- Check control module version.
In vehicles with a instrument panel from VDO the instrument panel must be replaced.
In vehicles with a instrument panel from Motometer, one must check to see if the digital clock
accuracy can be adjusted:

Correction of the clock is only possible with instrument panels manufactured by
Motometer and a limited manufacturing period!
Scan tool VAG 1551 with a programme card version /8.0 is required to correct the
clock!
