Accessing files on the SD card
The recorded tracks are written to the SD card that is inserted into the Balloon Live Sensor.
The files on the SD card can easily be accessed by connecting the device to a computer
using a micro USB cable. The SD card will appear as a mass storage device upon successful
connection.
Two folders will be visible when the newly detected mass storage device is opened in the
computer’s file browser:
system
and
tracks
.
The
tracks
folder contains all recorded tracks as individual
.IGC
files. Each
.IGC
file is
signed with the individual encryption key of the device. File names for .IGC files are created
using an encoded date format and a sequence number to make them unique.
