6.8.3 -
Syslog (Syslog Config)
In this section you can define a ‘syslog’ server storing all log files for the phone. This
function should be enabled only if the system is not working correctly or if there was an
explicit request from VOIspeed technical support team (tick
Enable Syslog
checkbox).
When this function is enabled, you need to have an active syslog server connected to the
same network on which you have connected the V-IP400P.
You will need to enter the following details:
•
Syslog server’s IP address.
•
UDP port used by the server (default value: 514).
•
MGR log (0..7) to set the level of details of the phone’s log files.
•
SIP log (0..7) to set the level of details of the log files relating to SIP traffic.

Time Setting (Time Set)
In
Manual Timeset
you can manually setup the system’s time and date.
Alternatively, in
SNTP Timeset
you can enter the details of a network NTP server that
will be responsible for automatically update the phone’s time and date.
