Risk of tripping or falling if compressed air hoses are not laid correctly.
Lay hoses in such a way that they do not cross any paths or roads and lie flat on the
ground. Always lay the compressed air hoses in such a way that there is a suitable hose
reserve in the work area.
3.1 Inserting / changing tools

Insert the tool (A) with the hexagon in the necessary orientation in the
tool holder (B).

Using your other hand, slide the sliding sleeve (C) downwards
(around half the length of the sliding sleeve) until the tool slips into
the holder. Return the sliding sleeve to its original position.
Pull on the tool to check whether it has correctly locked into place
in the tool holder. Check whether the tool hexagon is positively
locked into the tool holder.
Hold the VOGT compressed air equipment with the tool holder
upwards. Support it by placing the other end on the ground.
If the VOGT compressed air equipment has already been in
operation, check whether the tool holder is oily.
See page 26 if it this is not the case.
Only use original tools or tools expressly approved by the manufacturer for use in VOGT compressed
air equipment.
Risk of injury from tools.
The equipment must be depressurised to insert or change tools as the equipment can
be unexpectedly put into operation if handled incorrectly. Always wear suitable pro-
tective gloves when dealing with sharp, pointy or hot tools in order to avoid injury.
