Always use both hands to hold the VOGT compressed air

equipment when working:

• VOGT Hammer with one hand on the shaft or the optional handle

  and the other on the actuator body;

• VOGT TurboSpade at the top with both right and left handles.

Hold the tool on the material to be processed.

Do not operate the equipment without contact with the material!

The handle and shaft serve to guide the equipment, not to apply

additional  force  to  the  material.  Only  use  sufficient  physical

strength for the equipment to overcome the resistance of the

tool guide, to keep the impact moving forward, to prevent the

equipment jumping up and to ensure the material is actually

processed.

Impacts that do not strike anything lead to increased wear on the hexagon of the tools,

or to the piston breaking on the sliding sleeve of the tool holder.

NOTE

4 Work

Risk of severe or fatal injury if the equipment – even without a tool – is aimed at persons

or animals and when persons or animals are in the danger area.

Never aim the equipment at persons or animals. The operator is responsible for en-

suring that there are no persons or animals in the equipment’s danger area. Once a

person or animal enters the danger area, the operator must immediately stop the

equipment and ensure that these persons or animals stay a safe distance away. The

danger area always depends on the work and the tool. Therefore, the operator is

responsible for determining the danger area.

If you activate the release lever, compressed air is

supplied to the rammer of the VOGT compressed air

equipment and the equipment starts.
