PERIOD OF INACTIVITY
Before the water dispenser is due to experience a standstill of more than 3 days,
proceed as follows:
Before a period of inactivity longer than 3 days
WARNING!
Danger to health due to a lack of hygiene!
Do not disconnect the water dispenser from the power supply.

Turn off the water supply.

Close the CO
2
bottle valve.

Make sure that no-one uses the water dispenser
while the water supply is disconnected, for exam-
ple by posting a notice.

After an inactive period longer than 24 hours or a power failure, clean dispensing
taps, housing and drip tray with antibacterial cloths and disinfectant spray, restore
water supply and place a vessel on the drip tray and flush water dispenser with:
After a longer period of inactivity
CAUTION!
After standstill times from 4 days up to 4 weeks, flush the water
dispenser with 2.5 gal of still water and 5 gal of sparkling water.
After a
period of more than four weeks, sanitization and filter change is recommended.

Risk of bacteria and germs
if the water dispenser has been disconnected from the power supply for longer
than 120 minutes. If disconnected for longer (but less than 24 hours), restart
your dispenser and flush it as explained below (for 4 days’ to 4 weeks’ inactivity).
If the water dispenser has been disconnected from the power supply for longer
than 24 hours, system sanitization and filter change are necessary. Please
contact costumer service (see rear page).
