Changing the White Balance
White balance allows you to obtain the highest color fidelity possible by taking into account the
lighting conditions in which the camera is operating. Set the appropriate white balance setting to
remove the color cast that the current lighting conditions add. White Balance is set in the basic
section of the manual recording mode menu. (Page 30)
Changing the ISO
The ISO setting controls the imager sensitivity to the light. The ISO range for your camera is 100 to
800. The higher the number, the greater the sensitivity. ISO is set in the basic section of the manual
recording mode menu. (Page 31)
Recording in Black and White
Used for expressing a nostalgic feeling similar to using black-and-white film, or for recording
characters on a magazine, blackboard, etc. as memos. Black and White recording is set at the
Color mode in the custom 2 section of the manual recording mode menu. (Page 32)
