5.4 - STORAGE AND CLEANING
Cleaning
After each use clean every compo-
nents of the sander. Rub the ma-
chine with a clean and damp cloth or
blow it with low pressure com-
pressed air.
A careful handling protects the ma-
chine and extends its lifespan.
Storage
Keep the sander in its original box,
inside a dry place and away from
children’s reach.

The packaging is made up of
recyclable materials, which
you can dispose on local recycling
points.
Never place power tools in
the domestic waste.
According to the European Directive
2012/19 /EC on electrical and elec-
tronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law,
power tools must be collected separ
ately and delivered to the collection
sites provided for this purpose.
You can obtain information regard-
ing the disposal of the machine
through the person in charge for the
recycling in your city.

Problem - Cause
Solution
The tool does not start:
The power cable is not plugged it or there is as
electrical failure;
The extension cord is too long or the cable is too
thin;
The “ON/OFF” switch is damaged;
The power supply is too low;
Check the plug, socket and circuit breaker of the
supply circuit;
Remove or replace the extension.
Connect the power cord to the wall outlet;
Replace the “ON/OFF” switch;
Check if the power supply is suitable;
The tool is working irregularly on the surface:
The material or the surface are too hard;
Deformed sanding pad;
Reduce the rotation speed;
Replace the sanding pad;
Excessive thinning of the material or surface:
The rotation speed is too high;
The sand paper grit is too thick;
Reduce the rotation speed;
Use a thinner sandpaper grit;
The surface quality isn’t the desired:
Not appropriate sandpaper;
The periods of drying have not been respected;
High proportion of filler, soft bitumen;
Initiating the rotation of the sanding disc with the
sanding pad over the working surface (stretch
marks formation);
The sanding plate is inclined;
Use a thinner sandpaper grit;
Respect the drying periods and the manufacturer’s
recommendations;
Use a thinner sandpaper grit;
Place the sanding pad on the surface with the disc
in rotation;
Work with the sanding plate parallel to the working
surface;
