Upon arc starting, keep proper
distance away from the work-
piece and the distance should be
consistent with the diameter of
covered electrodes in use.
In the process of welding, please
do your best to keep this distance
unchanged.
The angle between covered
electrodes and working direction is
kept within the range of 20-30°.
If the output cable is excessively
long, the electric current may be
lowered down, which may result in
poor performance of welding.
The voltage of the power shall be
kept as steadily as possible for the
alteration of voltage may affect the
use of the welding machine.
If the voltage is 10% lower than the
rated input voltage of the welding
machine, it may result in:
Excessively low current to the
welding machine;
Arc breaking or poor stability of
the arc.
If the voltage is 20% higher than
the rated input voltage of the
welding machine, it may result in:
That the protection lamp is turned on;
That the welding machine canêt
work normally.
The arc light is the reason that
causes inflammation of the eyes and
scald of skin.
Splashing and slag cause the injury
on eyes and scald.
Please wear an eyeshade with
proper light shading ability or a
welding mask.
REQUIREMENTS
FOR MAINTENANCE
AND OVERHAUL
The regular maintenance and
overhaul is to ensure that the
machine is normally used and the
operation is in conformity with the
safety requirements.
Any improper or misuse operation
may cause failure and damage to
the machine.
The warranty period for the welding
machine is one year.
The user may take the machine
together with the invoice to the
distributor or the designated repair
department for repairing within the
time of warranty from the date of
purchase.
Before the maintenance and
overhaul for the machine, main
power of the power distribution
device and the power of the welding
machine shall be turned off.
The internal and external parts
of the machine shall be regularly
cleaned.
Remove the dust and dirt inside by
air, cotton yarn or brush.
Regular maintenance shall be done
to the machine’s power-control
switch, grounding device, internal
conductors, connection and
coupling device of the electrode
holder and the fixing screws.
When the product has failures or
the consumptive parts need to be
replaced, the related operation shall
be done by professionals.

proof of purchase during this period
of time. The warranty covers any
manufacturing defect in material or
operating, as well as parts and work
needed for their recovery.Excluded
from the warranty the misuse of the
product, any repairs carried out by
unauthorized persons (outside the
service center of the brand VITO) as
well as any damage caused by the
use of it.
