•
Do not wind the power cord around the unit
body.
•
Check the power cord insulation integrity from
time to time.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it should be
replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance
service or similar qualified personnel to avoid
danger.
•
Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not dis-
assemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunc-
tion is detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.

ONLY. ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE
IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS
PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature.
ATTENTION! The product is intended as an addi-
tional heating device for the air in indoor spaces
only. This product is not intended as a main heat-
ing device.
•
Unpack the unit.
•
Check the unit for damages, do not use it in case
of damages.
•
Make sure that the unit operating voltage corre-
sponds to the voltage of your mains.
•
Make sure that the power switches (3) are in
the position «
off
», if the unit is switched off, the
switch indicators do not glow (pic. 2).
SETTING
Stand mode
•
Turn the unit over.
•
Insert the support plates (1) into the openings
on the convection heater body (5) and fix them
with 4 self-tapping screws (6) supplied with the
unit (pic. 1).
HEATER USAGE
•
Before switching the unit on make sure that the
voltage in your mains corresponds to the unit
operating voltage, and the power switches (3)
are set to the position «off». If the unit is switched
off, the switch indicators do not glow (pic. 2).
•
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
•
Set the power switches (3) to the necessary
position:
–
button 750 W (3) (pic. 2);
–
button 1250 W (3) (pic. 2);
–
if both power switches (3) are set to the posi-
tion «
on
», the unit will operate at maximal
power 2000 W (pic. 2).
•
For maximum heat output, the thermostat (4)
must also be switched on, to switch the ther-
mostat (4) to maximum output, turn the switch
clockwise to the maximum value (pic. 2).
•
When the desired room temperature is reached,
turn the thermostat (4) knob counterclockwise
until you hear the thermostat switch off and
you can see that the indicators on the power
switches (3) go out. (
Important:
the unit is not
switched off). After that the heater will maintain
the preset room air temperature automatically
switching on and off.
•
To switch the unit off, set the power switches (3)
to the «off» position if the unit is switched off,
the switch indicators do not glow (pic. 2), then
unplug the unit from the mains.
Notes:
–
While the first switching on the heating element
burns, therefore occurrence of a small amount
of smoke or foreign smell is possible. It is normal.
–
Do not open windows and doors when the unit is
operating; otherwise you will not get the desired
results, due to cold air inflow.
WARNING! Do not cover the heater to avoid
overheating.
Auto switch off functions
•
The unit is equipped with an automatic switch
that switches the unit off when it is dropped or
considerably tilted. When the unit is back in the
vertical position, it will be switched on.
•
If the unit is not switched on, it may mean that
there are damages in the convection heater. In
this case contact an authorized service center
to repair the unit.
CLEANING AND CARE
•
Before cleaning disconnect the unit from the
mains and let it cool down.
•
Clean the unit regularly to avoid dust accumu-
lation.
•
Wipe the outer surface of the unit (5) with a
damp cloth and then wipe the convection heater
dry. Do not use abrasives for cleaning.
•
Do not immerse the convection heater body, the
power cord or the plug into water or any other
liquids. Provide that water does not get into the
unit body (5) to avoid electric shock.
•
To clean the grids (2) of the unit, use a vacuum
cleaner with a corresponding attachment.
