Attention:
For additional protection you can
install a residual current device (RCD) with
nominal operation current not exceeding 30 mA
into the mains; contact specialist for installation.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read these instructions
carefully. Keep these instructions for future
reference.
Use the unit for intended purposes only, as it is
stated in this manual. Mishandling the unit can
lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user
or damage to his/her property.
•
Before using the unit for the first time, make
sure that voltage in your mains corresponds
to the unit operating voltage.
•
Power cord is equipped with “euro plug”;
plug it into the socket with reliable ground-
ing contact.
•
In order to avoid fire or electric shock do not
use adapters for plugging the unit in.
•
In order to avoid network overloading pro-
vide that no other electrical appliances with
high power consumption are connected to
the same outlet the unit is connected to.
•
Do not use the unit if the plug or the power
cord is damaged or if there are other dam-
ages in the unit.
•
Use only the accessories supplied.
•
Place the reservoir on a flat heat- and water-
resistant surface.
•
Never leave the operating unit unattended.
•
Always take the power cord plug out of the
socket before filling the iron water tank with
water.
•
Water inlet lid should be closed during iron-
ing.
•
Do not fill the iron water tank and the res-
ervoir with scented liquids, vinegar, starch
solution, descaling reagents, chemical
agents etc.
•
Avoid contact of open skin areas with iron hot
surfaces or outgoing steam in order to avoid
getting burns.
•
Provide that the power cord is not on the
ironing board and make sure that it does
not touch hot surfaces or sharp edges, for
example, furniture.
•
Before plugging/unplugging the iron, set
the low ironing temperature, fabric type
«
VELVET
» and set the continuous steam
supply knob to the
« » position (continuous
steam supply is off).
•
Unplug the unit every time before cleaning
and when you do not use it.
•
To unplug the unit always pull its plug, but not
the power cord.
•
In order to avoid risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the iron, power cord and plug into
water or other liquids.
•
Before taking the iron away, unplug it, let
the unit cool down completely and pour the
remaining water out of the tank/reservoir.
•
Do not use the iron after dropping, in case of
visible damage or leakage.
•
In order to avoid electric shock do not dis-
mantle the unit by yourself. If unit has dam-
ages, apply to the authorized service center.
•
For children safety do not leave polyethylene
bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
Attention!
Do not allow children to play
with polyethylene bags or film.
Danger of
suffocation!
