If you plan not to use the drive for a period of time then follow these rules:
The electric drive must be disposed of following applicable local and national regula-
tions. For information on the proper disposal of packaging, metal frame parts, plastic
parts, electronics, batteries, neoprene, silicone, and polyurethane materials, please
contact your local waste disposal company or authorized supplier.
• Fully charge the batteries before storage.
• Remove the batteries from the drive.
• Store the drive in a warm, dry room.
• Avoid storing in a place where the drive will be exposed to temperature changes.
• Recommended storage temperatures: from 18ºC to 50ºC (from 64.4ºF to 122ºF).

Batteries that are regularly completely discharged, not regularly charged,
stored at inappropriate temperatures, or stored without being charged may
be permanently damaged resulting in unreliable operation and shortened
battery life. To ensure proper operation, it is recommended that batteries be
charged regularly, throughout the period of prolonged storage of the drive.
