Motor Base
1.
Unplug the power cable.
WARNING
Electrical shock hazard.
Unplug before cleaning the machine. Do not immerse or place the
motor base in water.
Failure to follow instructions can cause death or electric shock.
2.
Wash the outside surface with a damp soft cloth or sponge, which has been rinsed in a mild solution of washing-up
liquid and warm water.
3.
Thoroughly clean the variable-speed dial so it works freely. Moisten a cotton swab with a household degreaser
or cleaner and clean the grooves around the control.
4.
Moisten a cotton swab and wipe out the overflow opening at the back of the motor base.
5.
Immediately dry all surfaces. Polish surfaces with a soft cloth.

Note:
Clean the threads on the adapter and seals thoroughly to avoid ingredient build-up. Ingredient build-up
might cause problems when trying to remove the blade base from the personal cup if it has been attached and
allowed to sit for a long period of time.
Dishwasher:
The cup, lid, adapter and seals are dishwasher safe.
In-place Cleaning:
1.
Fill the container half full with water and add a couple of drops of washing-up liquid.
DO NOT BLEND HOT WATER.
2.
Put a seal on the bottom thread of the adapter. The seal should fit snugly and evenly around the thread. Thread the adapter
onto the cup in a clockwise direction just until tight. Put the cup and adapter onto the base.
3.
Slowly increase variable speed to 10.
4.
Run the machine for 60 seconds.
5.
Rotate the Variable-Speed dial back to Stop.
6.
Rinse and drain all pieces.
To Sanitise:
1.
Follow the cleaning instructions above.
2.
Fill the container half full with water and 1/2 teaspoon of liquid bleach.
DO NOT BLEND HOT WATER.
3.
Put a seal on the bottom thread of the adapter. The seal should fit snugly and evenly around the thread. Thread the adapter
onto the cup in a clockwise direction just until tight. Put the cup and adapter onto the base.
4.
Slowly increase variable speed to 10.
5.
Run the machine for 60 seconds.
6.
Rotate the Variable-Speed dial back to Stop.
7.
Allow the mixture to stand in the container for an additional 1 ½ minutes.
8.
Pour out the bleach mixture. Allow the container to air dry. Do not rinse after sanitising.
