Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
• Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any
labels that may be on the device and are used for protection during
transportation or for advertising.
• Insert battery (see the “Inserting / Changing the Battery” chapter).
Inserting / Changing the Battery
1. Unscrew the cover of the battery compartment (

) in the anticlock-
wise direction,
2. Insert 1 x 1.5 V battery, AA type into the battery compartment (
6
).
3. Place the battery compartment cover back on the battery compart-
ment and screw it shut. Make sure that the arrows on the battery
compartment cover and the device are aligned.
Replace the battery when the power of the device starts to become
weaker.
Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Make sure that the stainless-steel attachment of the device only
comes into contact with the tooth.
Do not apply to the gums.
■
The cleaning attachment should not be applied to the tooth or into
the spaces between the teeth with force.
■
Cleaning with the device may lead to bleeding of the gums. This
should stop during regular use of the device. If this is not the case
you should stop using the device and consult a dentist.
■
If using the device is unpleasant or painful, you should stop imme-
diately.
■
Attachments should be cleaned after every application.
Removing tartar and plaque
1. Brush the teeth as usual.
2. Insert the stainless-steel attachment (

) into the basic device (

).
3. Hold the tip of the stainless-steel attachment against the tooth, just
under or above the gum (without touching it).
4. Press the On / Off switch (

) to switch on the LED light (

).
5. Press the On / Off switch once more to switch on the vibration
function.
6. Move the stainless-steel attachment carefully along the transition
to the gums.
7. Press the On / Off switch in order to switch the device off. The LED
light will switch off.
8. Repeat steps 3 – 7 until all the teeth have been cleaned.
9. Remove the stainless-steel attachment from the basic device.
Polishing the teeth and cleaning the interdental spaces
10. Insert the silicone attachment (

) into the basic device.
11. Press the On / Off switch to switch on the LED light.
12. Press the On / Off switch once more to switch on the vibration
function.
13. Move the silicone attachment across the teeth which have treated
with the stainless-steel attachment, and insert it into the spaces
between the teeth.
14. Press the On / Off switch in order to switch the device off. The LED
light will switch off.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!

Do
not
clean the attachments in the dishwasher.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the
device. These can damage the surface.
• Remove the attachment used from the basic device (

).
• Rinse the attachments in warm water.
• When necessary clean the basic device with a moist cloth.
• Dry all parts thoroughly.
• Store the device and accessories in a dry place which is not acces-
sible to children and animals.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friend-
ly manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly manner at
a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic devices. It
should not be disposed of in the regular domestic waste.
The battery should be removed prior to disposal of the device
and disposed of separately from the device at a suitable collec-
tion point.
