Intended use
The process of inflating the cuff using the pump ball cuts off the blood flow
in the upper-arm artery. During the deflation process thumping sounds can be
heard through the stethoscope when the blood starts flowing in the artery again.
Systole is determined when the noises begin, and diastole is determined with the
last audible sound. The cuff can be fully deflated when both values have been
determined.

The unit is designed for auscultatory measurement of the systolic and diastolic
blood pressure on the upper arm.
These instructions are intended to help the user to use the blood pressure monitor
