The measurements should be performed while seated. In special cases,
measurements in a lying position are also possible.
8. Body posture when taking measurements
The results for measurements taken in a sitting and lying position may
differ slightly.
Sit at a dining table, lean your back against the
backrest of the chair and bend your arm so that
your arm is exactly at heart level. Place your feet
on the ground and do not cross your legs.
Lay on your back, place the device on your wrist
and at the height of your heart, e.g. by supporting
it with a pillow. To relax before the measurement,
take 2-3 deep breaths.
• Do not bend your wrist.
• Keep your hand relaxed, not tightened, do not make a fist.
• It is important to keep your arm calm and not to speak during the
measurement.
If the cuff is in a higher or lower position than the heart, the measured
value might be higher or lower, respectively.

Please pay attention to the following:
• Switch on the unit by pressing the Start/Stop button.
The full display appears (Figure 1).
• The cuff is inflated to the required pressure. The
symbol flashes in the display (Figure 2).
• The actual measurement process starts with three
beeps as the cuff is deflated. The
symbol flashes in the display (Figure 3).

• A long beep denotes the end of meas-
urement. The cuff is automatically de-
flated.
• The determined values of systole, dias-
tole and pulse and the pulse pressure
(PP) are shown alternately in the dis-
play (Figure 4, Figure 5).

• The device switches itself off after ap-
proximately 3 minutes. You can also
switch the device off before this by
pressing the Start/Stop button.
10. Classification of the measured values (WHO)
• Upper dot (Red) signifies high pressure*
• Middle dot (Yellow) signifies borderline value*
• Lower dot (Green) signifies normal value
