SRT
The Settings>Stream>SRT tab specifies the settings for streaming using the
Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) Protocol.
SRT protects against jitter, packet loss, and bandwidth fluctuation, ensuring the
best possible viewing experience. The SRT open source protocol utilizes ARQ
(Automatic Repeat Request) error correction to help prevent packet loss while
delivering the low latency performance of UDP. In addition, SRT can bring
together multiple video, audio, and data streams within a single SRT stream to
support highly complex workflows without burdening the network
administrators.
