ERROR MESSAGES

Three types of errors can occur; speed, elevation, and EEPROM software error. All three use the same display to
indicate the error, with the error number appearing in the main window. An elevation error shuts down the treadmill
and disables normal operation. A speed sensor error also shuts down the treadmill. The user, however, can enter
engineering mode after an error announcement.

SOLUTION

SAFETY SWITCH

If the safety magnet disconnects from the console, the treadmill shuts down if in run mode. The treadmill displays

““--------““

in

the main window. This is a safety precaution to warn the user that power is still being applied to the board. This safety
switch condition occurs in any mode, including engineering modes.

When the magnet reconnects to the console, the board resets. Any activity or run time information prior to the reconnection
will be lost.

Current elevation position is outside
zero and max elevation values

Current elevation position has not
reached target incline

Current elevation position is outside
zero and max elevation values, due
to elevation signal getting lost.

Speed of the belt surpasses the
calibrated max speed by 1.0 mph or
km/h as measured by the speed sensor

No speed is detected during
Auto-Calibration

Enter ENG 1 and manually position elevation within
the min and max values. If not possible, recalibrate
min and max elevation

Check for bad cable connection. Check for connection
between motor controller and elevation motor. Try to
reboot system

Check for bad cable connection. Check for connection
between motor controller and elevation motor. Check
for bad elevation motor

Cycle power to clear error. Check speed sensor and
magnets
