Technical safety
•
Check the Verdanium Geo for any external and visible damage before installation. A damaged
Verdanium Geo must not be set up and put into operation.
•
Before connecting the Verdanium Geo, please note the connection data (fuse, voltage and
frequency) in the technical data table. The connection data must be identical to the electrical
network. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
•
The electrical safety of the Verdanium Geo is only guaranteed if it is connected to a properly
installed protective conductor system.
Control panel
Protect the control panel from water and humidity. Do not place any damp objects on the device!
Transportation
Before transportation, you must first drain the Verdanium Geo. Use the drain program.
Before dismantling you must disconnect the Verdanium Geo from the electrical grid.
Operation
Children below the age of eight must not clean or maintain the Verdanium Geo unless supervised by a com-
petent person.
Persons (including children) who suffer from mental or physical disabilities or who do not have sufficient
experience in the operation of the Verdanium Geo must not operate it. An exception can be made if such
persons are supervised by a competent person, or have been thoroughly instructed how to operate the Ver-
danium Geo.
It is crucial to ensure that children do not play with the Verdanium Geo.
Scrapping after usage
When scrapping, you must follow local regulations for the removal of waste and refuse.
Safety Instructions
Installation
The optimal installation surface for your Verdanium Geo is in the cabinet below the kitchen sink.
Please make sure for proper operation of the filter that:
•
the Verdanium Geo is standing upright, stable and even on all feet.
•
the Verdanium Geo is not standing on soft floor surfaces.
•
the Verdanium Geo is placed, if possible, in a corner of the cabinet base as the cabinet is
strongest in this location.
•
Before installation, you must remove the blind plugs from the Verdanium Geo.
The following connections are required for the installation of the Verdanium Geo:
•
1 x power socket 230V AC
•
1 x cold water supply connection 3/4“ external thread (washing machine connection)
•
1 x wastewater connection, for example to the siphon below the sink
To ensure proper operation of the Verdanium Geo, it must stand vertically and evenly on all
feet.
The Verdanium Geo may only be connected to the cold water connection! The connecti-
on to the hot water supply will inevitably destroy the unit.
Remove the blind plugs and refer to the illustration
for the finished Verdanium Geo tubing.
1/4" natural – ultra-pure water
1/4" red – wastewater
3/8" blue – water supply
