7.3 SENDING PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGES
The MIDI Program Change message allows a given program (e.g. timbre) to be recalled on the connected unit through
direct use of the organ central unit.
When the MIDI key is pressed, the display will show the Midi Program Change values and the Midi Bank Select values, for
A and B channels as shown below. The default values are set to 0 (values between 0 and 127 are valid).

Use the CURSOR
Õ and Ö keys to locate the flashing cursor on the field to be modified, and enter the appropriate value
with the encoder. Press EXIT when done.
Note that:
•
The Program Change configuration can be saved in one of the instrument's general memories (see chapter 2). This
means that when a memory is recalled, both the sound of the organ and that of any peripherals connected will be set
automatically.
7.4 ENABLING THE MIDI TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION CHANNELS
As already mentioned, the Prestige triphonic interface allows each manual to transmit/receive on three MIDI channels, one a
base channel, one assigned to MIDI A and one assigned to MIDI B.
The MIDI transmission and reception channels are distributed as follows:
MANUAL
BASE channel
MIDI A channel
MIDI B channel
Pedalboard 14
7
8
Great 12 3
4
Swell 11 1
2
In addition to the above, the organ also controls 7 OVERALL channels used for exchanging general MIDI or system
information. These channels are numbers 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 15 and 16.
N.B.: The arrangement of the MIDI channels CANNOT be modified.
