8. INITIALIZATION PROCEDURES
8.1 INTRODUCTION
Initialization is the function by which the instrument is returned to its original settings pre-set by the manufacturer,
eliminating all the modifications made by the user.
The Prestige organ is able to perform both the general initialization procedure (all sections of the instrument are reset to
their original values) and sectorial initialization procedures.
In view of the characteristics of the initialization process, you are advised to save data considered important on disk before
starting the operations described below.
8.2 GENERAL INITIALIZATION OF THE INSTRUMENT
To obtain a general initialization of the instrument starting from the main video page (volume level control), press the
PAGE
× key twice. After passing through the presentation video page, the display will show:
L L
9 C9?
31& : 9 ; ," 230, 2&# .-5#0 -,
The software release installed on the instrument appears in the top right-hand corner of the display: state this code whenever
you contact the after-sales service.
Then switch the organ off and back on, keeping the push-buttons of the general memories HR 1 and 2 pressed.
8.3 INITIALIZING AN INDIVIDUAL VOICE
Prestige also allows the user to restore the parameters of a single voice, from any manual, to its original values. To do this
starting from the main video page, press the TAB key. The display will now be divided into 4 columns corresponding to the
4 sections of the organ (pedal section, man.I, man.II and man.III): the name of the section appears at the top of each column,
and the name of the first voice in the section at the bottom. Use the
Õ and Ö cursor keys to locate the cursor under the
section containing the voice to be initialized.
Turn the Encoder to scroll through all the voices in the chosen section until the name of the voice for modification appears
on the display.
Press the PAGE
× key (the voice parameters appear on the display) and then the PAGE × and PAGE Ø keys
simultaneously. Then press EXIT to leave the function.
8.4 VOICE LOCAL OFF
If the Prestige organ is piloting an external sound generator by MIDI, it may be necessary to switch one or more voices to
"Local off" mode. When a voice is in "local off" mode, when its stop is operated, only the MIDI code will be emitted,
without activating sound generation (the voice is mute). To set one or more voices in "local off" mode, press the SET (S)
push-button under the first manual and keep it pressed while pressing the CANCEL (C) push-button also under the first
manual. When this is done, all the lamps (registers) of the enabled voices will illuminate; the registers can also be used to
disable local off, or enable normal operation of the individual voices. Remember that in this operating mode, when the light
of the register is off, voice generation is disabled.
Press the SET + CANCEL keys again to return to normal operation.
