3. STANDARD EQUIPMENT

4. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
OF THE TRIMMER
The main use of the FR1192T is for trimming lami
-
nates and making mouldings. It can also be used for
cutting straight or circular grooves or slots and ma-
king copies with a template using the appropriate
guides (see section 9). It can also be used to make
the recesses for hinges, using the optional head
described below.
5. APPLICATIONS FOR BEVEL-EDGING,
HINGES AND MOULDING ATTACHING
A CUTTER BIT (Fig. 1)
Disconnect the machine from the mains
before performing this operation.
To change the bit (Fig. 1), block the motor shaft
using key A, loosen the nut using key E and remove
the bit.
Insert the new bit as far as it will go in the housing
and tighten it using the service keys.
Check that the collet diameter mat-
ches the bit stem.
6. ADJUSTMENTS
6.1 ADJUSTING THE TRIMMER HEAD (Fig.2)
Disconnect the machine from the mains
before performing this operation.
Loosen knob C, enabling cogwheel D to rotate slo
-
wly until the required distance between the head
and the bit is obtained.
Once this is done, hold in place by tightening knob
C.
6.2 ADJUSTING THE GUIDE WHEEL FOR
BEVEL-EDGING LAMINATES (Fig. 3)
Loosen knob F and turn wheel G until the vertical
position is at the required height for the bit. Hold
in place by tightening knob F.
7. STARTING UP THE MACHINE
To start the machine, press button R forward (Fig.
2) to the on position. To stop the machine, simply
press the back of the switch and it will return to
the off position.
The electronic control enables you to work at the
ideal speed for each type of job and bit. Adjust the
speed using button S (Fig. 7).
8. ATTACHING THE SQUARE (Fig. 4)
Disconnect the machine from the mains
before performing this operation.
Insert the square in the holes on the head and hold in
place at the required measurement using knobs H.
