Mechanical squeezing device Ø 32-63 Ref. 575022
Upper spindle bush
Frame
Freely rotating SDR 11 wheel
spacers with screw axis
Overview
•
Manually operated mechanical spindle propulsion of the upper crush
• 1 set of spacers: SDR 11
• Spacer dimensions for DA pipes: 32/40/50/63 mm
Turning handle with spindle
Upper crush tube with ball
lock
Lower crush tube with
securing tabs
• Lower crush tube with securing tabs against accidental falling out
• Weight: cca. 5 kg
• Approx. dimensions: h: 330 mm / w: 340 mm / d: 60 mm
Operation:
Screw the upper crush tube upwards as necessary with the spindle.
Set the spacers in accordance with the pipe data. The spacers can be rotated freely on the screw
axes.
On both sides of the upper crush tube there is a spring-loaded ball locking device
.
On the back of
the spacers, there is an indentation behind each DA specification
.
If the spacers are rotated, the ball
detent is locked in each DA specification and prevents inadvertent rotation of the spacers during the
squeezing process
.
If the ball detent no longer works due to contamination or damage, you have to monitor the
correct position of the spacers during the squeezing process and correct it if necessary.
Pay attention to your fingers! Improper operation may result in injury
.
Pull the lower crush tube from the frame, then set the squeezing device over the tube to be pinched
and finally lower the crush tube back into the frame.
Make sure that the tube sits centrally on the lower crush tube.
Now screw the top crush tube with the spindle downwards until both spacers rest on the lower
crush tube and can no longer be moved.
T
o end the squeezing process screw the upper crush tube by means of the spindle upwards again
.
Pull the lower crush tube from the frame, then lift the squeezing device from the pinched tube
and finally slide the lower crush tube back into the frame
.
Secure the lower crush tube against loss and falling out by screwing down again until it rests
firmly on the crush tube with the spacers on the lower crush tube
.
