5 Presentation of the tool
Before starting to work with the tool, get acquainted of its operating specifics and safety conditions to observe. The tool and
its accessories may be used only for their planned purposes. Any other use is strictly forbidden.

5.1 Charging and installing the battery
5.1.1 Charging the battery
• CONNECT THE CHARGER TO MAINS
The left LED flashes red and green for 2 seconds. Then stays lit red
to indicate the charger is ready to run. The charger is waiting for a
battery.
• INSERT THE BATTERY INTO THE
CHARGER.
Align the three pins on the battery with the three grooves on the
charger and fully push the battery.
• CHARGER OPERATION
Legend of the left LED
If the left LED flashes green, the battery is charging.
If the left LED stays lit green, the battery is fully charged.
If the left LED flashes red and green, there is a temperature problem.
If the left LED stays lit red, the battery is faulty. Replace it by a new
Li-Ion battery (Reference: 253244).
Legend of the right LED
If the right LED flashes green, the battery is of the Li-Ion technology.
If the right LED stays lit green, the battery is of the NiCd or NiMh
technology.









